Feather and Pin Recognition System 

This award system is designed to recognize those youth and adults that have given service to their Chapter or Lodge activities and functions.

The feather shown here to the left is given upon completion of the Arrowman’s first service. Also given at the same time the pin or pins earned for the service rendered. This should be worn on the right uniform pocket below the Lodge flap. 

The feather is not to be worn alone but should have the appropriate pin or pins affixed anywhere on the feather.


 The Turtle Pin -   Is awarded to Officers, Advisers, Troop OA Representatives and event Chairs at the Chapter and / or Lodge level.
     
 The Arrow Pin -   Is awarded to Elangomats, Nimats, Registration and Unit Election Teams at the Chapter and / or Lodge level.
     
 The Cook's Pin -   Is awarded to Quartermaster and Kitchen Staff at all Chapter and Lodge conclaves and OA activities.
     
  

Ceremony Pins

For Ordeal -  Is awarded to Ceremonialists, Advisers and those working to assure that the Call-Out, Pre-Ordeal and Ordeal Ceremonies occur successfully at the Chapter and / or Lodge level.Ordeal recognition Pin 
 
For Brotherhood -  Is awarded to Ceremonialists, Advisers and those working to assure that the Brotherhood Ceremonies occur successfully at the Chapter and / or Lodge level.
 
For Vigil -  Is awarded to Ceremonialists, Advisers and those working to assure that the Vigil Ceremonies occur successfully at the Lodge level
 
  

NOTE:

Minimize
  • All of this is available upon request by the Chapter Adviser at Lodge or Adviser Meetings or Lodge events.
    • Adviser must submit a list of recipients names and earned pins.
