ANYONE can help us take care of a great camp! Packs and Troops welcome!

OA Membership is not required; camping open to anyone willing to help, or just come on Saturday for a service project, (although OA ceremonies & meetings will be for members only.)

HOST: Kaposia & Many Waters Chapters

Ordeal Induction for remaining 2018 OA Candidates from any Chapter.
Brotherhood Induction for Ordeal Members of 10 months tenure or more.

There is no signup or cost for the Rum River weekend coming up soon. Just show up by 8 am. Bring your own lunch. Beverages are provided.

Fred C Andersen 2019 Summer Kick-off

WHEN: Friday through Sunday May 3-4, 2019  - Registration link for the event.

Check-in 5:30-7:30 pm Friday and depart by 8:00 pm Saturday night!

Come and join us as we cheerfully serve one of our local camps and have fun while doing so. Ordeal Inductions available for Ordeal Candidates from any Chapter that have not completed their Ordeal. Brotherhood Conversion for Ordeal Members of 10 months or more.

WHERE: Fred C. Andersen Scout camp. The headquarters will be at the Swanson Lodge.
WHO: This weekend is for ALL Scouts, Scouters, and units in Scouting.  You don’t have to be an Order of the Arrow member.

COST: 

  • Ordeal Candidates  $40  (includes camping, food, new OA sash & OA materials)  
  • Brotherhood Candidates  $30  (includes camping, food, new OA sash & OA materials)  
  • All others, OA or not, $15  (includes tenting in Paradise field & food) 
  • Saturday only lunch & dinner for $10 or lunch-only $5.

EQUIPMENT: Work clothes & gloves, tent & camping/sleeping gear, appetite, uniform and sash for OA members

HEALTH FORMS:  Each participant must have a signed health form at check-in.   Link to BSA Short Term Medical Form
